How is asos sizing

But I'm sure others have more experience. Since returns are free and easy, perhaps order both and return one. I got a 4 in both dresses, which is a size up from what I wear in US sizes even though it is supposedly an 8 UK, which is what I usually wear in UK sizes.

Both dresses are relaxed in fit so unless they run very small I should be fine. I'm usually a size 6 or 8 in the US more specifically Canada and have 40" hips, 36" bust. I recently ordered a dress in size 10 since I didn't think the model wearing a size 8 looked much smaller than me, and is the same height.

When the dress finally came it's too big, and I'm so disappointed. Don't trust their sizing chart at all, or their new fit visualizer which doesn't help either.

I recently purchased two tops from Asos and found the size charts quite helpful. The size chart directed me to 3 sizes up from my US size size 2 to a size 8 and that worked nicely for me. I have not had to return anything yet so I cannot speak about returning.

I just placed my first order a few days ago, so I'm waiting on pins and needles to see what happens. I have appreciated the frequent email updates so far. Adding 6 to whatever your US size is to get your UK size usually does the trick.

I have never had any issues with their customer service, but I have heard some horror stories. None have stopped me from shopping there though.

They have tracking information available for international orders, which is fantastic, and the shipping and return shipping is free. I have returned items to a US address, btw , and have always been promptly credited.

It sucks that some people have had bad experiences, but IMO you just have to weigh that risk and judge for yourself. I probably wouldn't buy something that was hundreds of dollars from them, but the inexpensive stuff I get is worth what I perceive to be a pretty small risk.

Their US sizing is confusing because they arbitrarily start at a size 2. However, I would still recommend buying true to size, unless the size guide or reviews on that piece of clothing say otherwise.
