How much is scary wood

To request information about booking a group to Scarywood, head here or call them at With so much to see and do, we recommend that you visit the park on one of our least busiest nights in order to experience everything… you know… with it being the last night of your life in all.

Scarywood is open on Thursdays from pm to 11 pm and on Fridays from pm to 12 am. October weather in North Idaho can be unpredictable. It can range from warm and clear to cold and rainy. Make sure to check the weather before your upcoming trip and overpack. If you do happen to forget something, purchase a Scarywood sweatshirt at one of our retail stores.

It would be the perfect way to remember your fall trip. We also wanted to remind everyone that costumes, masks or face painting are not permitted in Scarywood to ensure the protection of our actors and guests. As the night goes on, more and more guests arrive. Our advice is to arrive before the gates open in order to get the most out of your admission ticket. This is also another great way to avoid lines.

The gates open at 7 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. This will also give you the chance to take a picture with one of your favorite frightful friends. If you have been counting down the days to see the newest attraction, or dying to ride Timber Terror backwards, head to those places first.

The lines might get longer as the night goes on, so heading to your most anticipated attractions first will ensure your spot in line. Then they will be sent into the haunt where Sgt. Buzz and the zombie hunters will try to protect them before they can become infected. Planet Zombie is a level-five attraction; guests will experience profane language, high-decibel gunfire and explosions and scenes of violence.

Total Darkness , located in Pavilion 1, is exactly what is sounds like. This year, the pitch black maze has been updated with new twists and turns. This is a level-three attraction; guests will experience zero visibility and claustrophobic situations.

As the name suggests, riders can expect not one, but two trips upside down on this roller coaster. Ram and bump other cars, or just spin around the track while driving Krazy Kars. After riders are secured in their seats, Panic Plunge begins its slow ascent. When they least expect it, riders are then released toward the ground. At the last moment, the ride slows down and brings riders to a gentle landing. The ride rotates degrees at 13 revolutions per minute and swings like a giant pendulum, eventually taking riders upside down.

One of the top-rated wood coasters in the country, Tremors takes riders slowly up the first hill, eventually reaching feet in the air, before dropping them down feet into the first of four tunnels. A series of twists, turns, drops and tunnels follows. In Clown Town , a demented group of prankster clowns has transformed the Country Carnival into a nightmare for all who enter. You spent 30 minutes going through there pretty fast because it was creepy enough to make a move that fast.

It even freaked me out as a parent. They did a fabulous job.!!! So worth every penny. You had to wait for the other persons in front of you to get out but well worth it! My husband and I were very impressed with how smooth our experience was tonight after arriving with the new protocol.

There was a short wait after entering and there were lots of cool new things from last year. We come every year and are never disappointed. Tony, thanks for another great year!! You guys did an awesome job! This place is awesome!
